HDFC SmartPay 5% cashback on gift-cards – does ₹1,000 cap apply per card or per account?

I currently have two HDFC credit cards:
• HDFC Swiggy
• HDFC Tata Neu Plus Rupay

According to the SmartBuy offer, purchasing gift cards earns 5% cashback, capped at ₹1,000/month.

My question is:
👉 Is this ₹1,000 cashback cap per credit card, or combined per HDFC customer account (across all cards under my name)?

If it is per card, then I could potentially buy gift vouchers using both cards and earn up to:
✅ ₹1,000 on Swiggy Card
✅ ₹1,000 on Tata Neu Plus Card
= ₹2,000 cashback per month via SmartBuy

Has anyone tried this with multiple HDFC cards

Is the ₹1,000 cashback limit on HDFC SmartBuy for other credit cards card-specific or account-specific?
If it’s account-specific, can we use a different PayZapp account to buy vouchers and get cashback?

Per card is the capping. For add on cards the capping is limited to the primary card
