HDFC Tata Neu Credit Card AMC

AMC has been applied on my HDFC TATA neu credit card, I have not used card after application of amc. Can I request bank to close my card and waive off the amc or do I need to pay amc before closing the card.

HDFC cx is not that great, or I would say "worst"

I cleared all outstanding except AMC and asked them to close the card. They reversed the fees. But do this only if you are okay with the bank closing the card.
