Hi,
I want to upgrade my hdfc millenia debit card to platinum. But what will happen to the pending cashback? The 5 percent card cashback and 5 percent from smartbuy that normally take 3 konths to credit. Will that be just lost?

This month only I upgraded from Millennia to Platinum. I received promotion cashback (5%) even after Millennia card closure. But waiting for Millennia loyalty cashback points. If I receive I will update here

thanks! will then go ahead with upgrade.
How did you like the upgrade?
I am planning to downgrade to Millenia from ES Platinum as Millenia offers more both on cc payments and online transactions. I am not a high spender and hence looking forward to get Millenia. Please let me know how I can do that?
Also, I hold salary account with HDFC and have LTF ES Platinum DC.

But keep in mind that Millennia DC will only fetch you Rs 400 cashback per month.

Yeah, I know I hardly get 500 with hdfc ES Platinum in 6 months as it fetch 1% on credit card payments. I needed Millenia DC as it gives good cb on cc payments and portals like Cheq, paytm started charging convininence fees on my ccs. So, think it is a better option for me. 400/ month is fine. Also, what's the minimum spend for 2.5% cashaback?

Minimum amount is Rs 400 in case of Millennia DC to get 1% or 2.5% cashback. Just do Rs 16000 credit card payment on Mobikwik through Millennia DC and you will get 2.5% cashback points which is equal to Rs 400 post 90 days.

I thought the 2.5% cashback is for online transactions only! How are "online transactions" defined? Any kind of transactions made online? Does it pay 2.5% for CC payments also, if done online?!

Also, does any kind of shopping done via PayZapp or SmartBuy (including Amazon and Flipkart) qualify for 5% cashback (upto 400/p.m.), -- or are there restrictions?

I have the same question. I don't think it'll fetch 2.5% cb on cc payments. I have cards that are not listed on HDFC portal, so Millenia makes sense
