HDFC's Credit Card process A joke or just mismanaged?

On 17th Dec, I applied for the Biz Black card, but my VKYC didn’t go through. I emailed the HDFC Escalation, and on the 19th, they replied, asking me to dispatch my KYC documents and income proof.

I dispatched them after five days, and the documents were delivered successfully.

Surprisingly, I received another email yesterday, requesting a photocopy of another bank’s credit card and its statement within 45 days to proceed with the application.

Being the absolute idiot I dispatched these additional documents today as well.

However, just an hour ago, I received an email stating that my application has been rejected and my documents that were requested are still in transit LOL
what happened to 45 days time???

What the heck is going on?

I’m attaching screenshots for reference. Any advice on how to resolve this would help.

With hdfc, it's S*** show. Ask for reason of rejection. If they don't provide, cite rbi guidelines.

Absolute shitt .. My Application was pending for over 30 days before rejection. They rejected as i started chasing them for status every other day.

There cc process is pure mess.

Let them go by their own flow.. if you start chasing them 90% they will reject it.

As already mentioned above by vega, mail them as per rbi guidelines banks needs to share clear reason for rejection to customer.
