Help in closing SBI Card

I have a Simply Save Card, a Simply Click Card and another Simply Save Card(it was a FBB card which was replaced with a Simply Save Card after expiry post the big bazaar fiasco)

So I put in a request to merge all limits into the simply click card and close the other two card.

Customer care converted one simply save to LTF, refused to merge limits and didn't close any of the cards. this was after multiple rounds of complaints.

So am now back to square one.
What do I do now?

This is what I do to close a SBI Card...
Step 1: Pay all the dues
Step 2: Call CC and request to close card.. they will do some verification and ask the reason...inform clearly and firmly that you have decided to close the account.
Step 3: The agent will transfer the call to retention team.. they will peruse for not closing and offer some RP/ reverse last yr's fees/ make the card LTF... if you don't buzz, they will close the account on call and you would receive NOC mail immediately.
Step 4: On second thought, you can still reactive and reissue the card by calling CC.
I closed 3 SBI cards in last 1.5 yrs, worked for me so far.
