Help me decode this ICICI statement, is this April's Statement or May's?

🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️
Obviously May Statement, since Statement is generated in May.
i'm asking since should i start my my spending's of the Financial Year 2023-2024 from April's Statement or May's? since the spends are from April 5th..
the bill i got in April are from March 5th... which is technically last Financial year this is confusing
edit

or should i calculate from April 1 manually and exclude all the bills from before April 1st?

I think technically bill date count.

Even if I spent in March and I get the bill in April?
Are you saying in March of 2024 anything i spend will count towards 2025 since I get the bill in April. That doesn't make sense.

@VISHESH_BANSAL @VijayflyRaven @phagocyte536 @Wealth is my birth right!

can you help me out?
Why are you getting confused unnecessarily ?

For spend based fee waiver, your spends would be counted from issuance date, unless specified otherwise.

Bill will generate as per Billing cycle.

If card was issued on 20th March 2023 then for fee waiver , spends of 20th March 2023 to 20th March 2024 would be considered, unless specified otherwise.

Note:
Always do some extra spends over and above that is required for Fee waiver.

my question is not about fee waiver, its about keeping the yearly spends to 10L
if my spends are from March 5th to April 5th, and as you said you get the bill in April so its april's statement, should i cound the spends of March 5th to April to the Financial Year of 2023 ?

Explain your query well in starting itself.
So that we can answer Accordingly.

In another thread Same Question is well explained to you by many including me.

So refer to that thread.

Again I am giving a brief:-

Income tax Department follows financial year only i.e payments made to your credit card between 1st April to 31st March of next year should not exceed 10lakh otherwise Banks will report the same to IT Department.
