Help me find this Robotic Spam Call Company

I have activated DND before 6 months. But as you all know, DND is kind of useless in India.

Whenever I receive a spam call, I try to find which company it is. After that, I go that Company's website, find their support email and mail them telling that I am gonna make a TRAI complaint and Consumer Court complain regarding Spam Calls. They will stop calling me.

But I am unable to find this particular operator. The only clue I can find is that all the calls starts with "Priya Grahak". And all calls are regarding either Personal Loan or Credit Cards.

Truecaller shows all these calls as "Ola Fraud" "Ola Spam". But I am unable to find what company is making these calls.

I have reported over 50 complaints in DND portal and blocked all these numbers. Still, I am receiving 4-5 calls per day from the same operator.

And Truecaller doesn't work full-fledged in iOS. We have to manually block every number and there is no option to block a incoming spam call. So I attend all these calls and then block the numbers.

So can you guys help me on what to do next.

Not only calls, but I also get messages regarding personal loans.

Now, I dont usually pick phones that start from +91-124, these are usually the telemarketers!

Yes, this IndiaLends is a known culprit. But I have already sent a mail 2 months ago to remove my number from their calling list or else I will be filing a complaint. They replied that it will be removed within 7 days.

Guess I have to send another mail 🤐

Looks like 99% of them are not priya grahak. Maybe 1% are just grahak and 99% of them are just having their time wasted just like the calls from credit card agents.

Ok. I took one for the team. Got a call starting with Priya Grahak and I clicked on 1 to say am interested. Immediately received a call from Indialends. So they are the culprit for sure.

I tried this method too. But whenever I press 1, The voice says "You will receive a SMS containing the link to apply Personal Loan". But the problem is the SMS gets blocked due to DND Services.

On Friday, Sent a mail to IndiaLends Support that I am gonna file a complaint legally and said that I have all the recordings where the call is from IndiaLends.

Guess what, from Monday I am not receiving any spam calls which starts with "Priya Grahak" 😀 Almost 5 calls per day to 0 calls per day for the past 4 days.
So surely Indialends is the culprit here.

Have you also dealt with Bajaj Finance and IndusInd loan calls? Where to send complaints against them?

Have previously receiving calls from PaisaBazaar and a company called 'Niro Money' ( I have never heard of this Niro website before).

Sent the same kind of mails to both.

PaisaBazaar removed my number from calling list.

A CC executive from Niro Money called me after the mail. He told that their company got my number through JustDial 🤐. I asked him to remove my number from all the calling list.

Both attempts were successful. Very rarely I receive calls from PaizaBazaar agents who call me through their personal number asking to take loan. But I usually warn them not to call again and they won't call after that.

So in conclusion (based on my personal experiences) :
Mailing the concerned company's Support Team to remove number from calling list > TRAI's DND.

I did this and now they are spamming my email along with calls and messages. :|

I followed the same process and sent an email to the IndiaLends grievances support team. They confirmed on mail the deletion of all my data and that I would not receive any more communication.
It's only been about four days since the confirmation but I feel that the frequency of calls has reduced (will confirm the frequency in a few days again). However, I am still receiving 1-2 calls/texts daily from Indialends (confirmed by the message). I hope this might take a week for the activation of DND rather than 48 hours as they promised, so I will wait for at least a week for the calls to finally stop.

However, what should I do if I still keep on receiving calls? Where should I complain other than TRAI? They have already confirmed that I would not receive any communication in the mail so at least I have evidence.

Actually complaining to TRAI is pretty useless.

After some days, if u receive calls from them, not the numbers and send a new mail. Mention that you have received calls/SMS from the noted numbers and again threaten them that you will be filing a case.

In total, I have sent 3 mails to them in the last 6 months. After the 3rd mail, I have not received even a single call from them for the past 1 month.

I also get irritated when I get repeated spam calls. I am also registered for DND (Full DND active), I usually complain on Airtel portal (my service provider) here -Click Here - with call details, time of call, etc.

To my surprise, it's mostly worked for me, I have even been informed about action taken against them. Some of violators have been placed with message and call restrictions. I have been very active in registering complain with them, I almost register each DND violation.
