Filing a complaint with the RBI today, since the terms and conditions mention 1 year and non-activity period before closure was just 8 months (however, since I didn't notice the closure for 4 months, it has already been > 12 months, but worth a shot). Will update here once I receive a response.
Agreed.. Adding to this.. Why don't you let them know how much you have been valuable customer these years.. RBIO is always there as last option..Warning for those who have huge reward points and are waiting for more opportunities for redemption.
It's always better to be safe than sorry.
You have no other option than to escalate it to the RBI.
