Home loan providers with online transfer

Hi,

Starting this thread to maintain the list of Banks who provide Home loan with the option to make payments using online transfer (IMPS, NEFT etc.). This is important while choosing the home loan provider for people considering to make prepayments.

List of Banks that allow online transfer:

• SBI Bank
• ICICI
• Axis

List of Banks that doesn't allow online transfer:

• HDFC bank

HDFC Bank (previously HDFC Ltd) has started option to make prepayment online but with below condition: -
1. Maximum 25% of your principal due can be paid online in an year
2. One payment per quarter is allowed and total aggregate 25% across 4 quarters basis point 1.

You can place a request via Customer care or email to get the link to make online payment.

This has been started from 2023 onwards.

you can prepay any amount in SBI home loan using online transfer. The amount will be reduced from the Principal on the same day and interest will be saved from the date of transaction.

Axis I believe also allows online transfer.
