I was looking for a Vistara CC. I already hold 3 cards with Axis so couldn't apply there. IDFC has an offering but I wanted the most basic card due to Vistara ticket availability, so I applied for SBI CC.
I already hold an SBI card with 1L limit and Axis cards with 4L limits. Although, SBI decided to give me 68k limit for some reason on this card. Meeting Vistara milestones is a nightmare with this limit and a request for increase can only be processed after 6 months.
To make matters worse, when I used this card on gyftr for a 50k transaction - they blocked my card. Understandably, I got an automated callback regarding this txn, to which I responded and supposedly unblocked my card. I paid the outstanding amount right then and verified the limit reset in the app. Although, even after this, I was at a store and had to make another purchase of 50k, they still hadn't unblocked my card!! It was so embarrassing to have transaction declined one after other. They finally called me back with a human executive on line and then they unblocked the card. It took around 1/2 hr for them to totally unblock my card even after authorizing it. I had to make all the payments via Axis cards and lost on the Vistara Milestone for now.
Someone warned me agaist SBI cards, but now I know!!
