Normally, infants (less than 2 years) are NOT provided seats, but have to fly on lap. They do however need to be ticketed and have boarding pass.
Normally, you would book the adult ticket(s) and then call the airline regarding the infant ticket.

Best thing is to call the airline directly and understand the process.

As long as PNR consist ur name with infant u can claim retro it’s easy

After booking the ticket, call Customer Care to get the infant baby name added to your ticket PNR. You may be charged extra for this
