How can I disable Kotak bank Sms alerts?

Hello. I want to disable kotak bank sms alerts to avoid extra charges. Could you please tell me how I can do this?

In the left side navbar on netbanking, scroll down all the way to 'Service Requests' > 'Manage Account Alerts' > Uncheck SMS wherever applicable > Update. I don't remember getting any SMS from Kotak nevermind getting charged in the first place.

Are you getting charged, really? If so, you might have subscribed for Value Add SMS, Daily/Weekly, right?

I was charged for the same. For the weekly n monthly update on balance info we get. We can disable thru net banking (the option was not there wen I tried diabling it ). Instead I called customer care n asked them to stop those SMS. They have opened a service request for tat n disabled it. Still we ll keep getting all debit n credit related SMS free of charges.

As you said, we get debit & credit sms's even after disabling sms alerts;
Then exactly which alerts do we get additional if we let it enabled ?

No, I haven't been charged. It's been 5 years now.

We ll be notified our bank balance on every weekend n month end. For tat they are charging money.

Nope. Those ll send irrespective of we being charged r not.
