I am currently using AU bank credit card. I want to open AU Digital savings account but I am getting error in the app. Can anyone suggest how can I open digital savings account online ??

0 Balance account is for new to bank customers only (no prior relationship)
You cannot open account online in AU if you already hold credit card from them
Branch is the only option and no 0 bal acc can be opened from branch
Yes, now you have to open the account via the branch and it will not be a Zero balance.
If you opted for debit card at time of account opening, then no need to do anything
Otherwise apply via CS
Btw how you opened? Any special link?
wait for few hours. Maximum it takes 48H to be visible in the AU App. DC takes time to generate.

This was old issue in AU bank that existing credit card holder can't open Zero balance online account but that was fixed in Jan 2024.
I remember I had AU credit card from Nov-2023 and I applied for Zero balance account in Dec-23 and got error. Customer care and tweeter support team said that since I already have existing credit card from AU, I can't open online zero mab account.
In January 24, I just tried again and surprise surprise 🫢 account got opened in 5 minutes. Even no initial funding was asked
After 48 hours I added fund in account, 150+GST deduct and Debit card issued.

I just opened a new digital saving account via online. I only had credit card before. So it's possible.
Yes, recently they fixed the issue and allowed cc only customers to open account online.
