I have been following this forum since quite a few months now. And I wish to share my story of RBI complaint ( which I was inspired to file after reading RBI Banking complaint related threads on this forum )
In my case, the RBI has closed my complaint without properly evaluating what I had said.
Before proceeding further I wish to ask All Pixel Credit Card holders - Are you guys receiving monthly email statements to your registered email ??
Now proceeding to my case ( which I had filed cause I am not receiving Email Statements in pdf on my registered email for Pixel Card )
Dec end - I raised PayZapp support ticket stating I had not received email Statement for the month of Dec. ( the bill had already been generated )
The support replies stating that the Email has already been sent and tell me to check my Spam Folder ( that's weird, but okay I thought....) I checked my Inbox and my Spam folder once again. No email was received by me.
As usual it is with the PayZapp support, they closed my ticket and I had to manually raise it again. This went on for some time with the Support ignoring my replies and insisting that the registered email Statement was sent on Bill generation date itself. While I had checked my mailbox thoroughly, I hadn't received it.
Also, just to be clear - I receive all OTP and Debit Transaction emails on my registered address. I also receive payment credit emails as well. Only the monthly email statement I didn't receive.
Somewhere in January - I finally received an email Statement. The PayZapp support did not reply to the ticket though. But when I tried opening the Pdf, it did not open. ( looks corrupted to me ). I even downloaded and then tried opening, but still got error.
I informed this to Support team on PayZapp and they were still unable to send me a proper email statement.
Finally, I raised a complain to the RBI BO.
March - I finally receive a proper email after my RBI complaint from the PNO Desk of the Bank.
Hdfc submitted the response that they had provided email statement on Bill generation date itself ( wow, then where the hell did the stmts go if they didn't reach my inbox!!) and also sent me statement over email multiple times.
I sent my clarification to the RBI BO, stating - I did not receive Email Stmt on Bill generation date and this was informed by me to the RE. The one email I received, had a corrupted pdf which did not open. Even this was informed by me to the RE.
I also confirmed the Stmt received by me in March, sent by PNO Desk, after my complaint to RBI.
Despite all this clarification the RBI closed my complaint stating the below.
Where the hell did the Statements go then??? IF the RE sent it multiple times. And what about the corrupted pdf they sent which never opened ??
Opinions, comments are welcome.
