How many Kotak Credit Card a person can hold?

I am having Kotak Zen Signature LTF credit card with 2.25 credit limit.

I have applied for their Rupay Kotak Indian Oil card, but it's rejected. Is there any condition that I can hold only 1 Kotak Credit Card?

I want that for Upi.

They rejected my second card application for IOCL at first and then all of a sudden they sent me this message that your card is approved.

Same lol. Had applied for League (didn't know it was Rupay or Visa) in May, they rejected instantly because I already had a Kotak card.

Suddenly it appeared in my mobile app last Friday.
Activated it since I needed a rupay addon card for my brother for UPI spends.

I hold two Kotak White LTF, Kotak Myntra FYF. Interestingly both times they first rejected the card and then approved after some time. My third card application this time with an alternate no for LTF IOCL was just recently rejected so not yet losing hope. Second time is a charm with Kotak.

How much gap did you give between first and second application for same card?

Whenever I am trying to apply second card (IOCL), it says congratulations, your application is under process and gives me the reference number of my previous card which I got around 1 year back already!!! Their system seems to be glitchy!

Bcz upi rupay was maybe given to you as Pre approved i guess..

I got pre approved offer for UPI Rupay Card as 4th card but they took more than a month to generate the card after submitting the application.

SO KOTAK GIVES 1 CARD
BUT
YOU CAN TAKE UPTO 4 BUT 4TH WILL BE DIGITAL UPI CARD .( as confirmed by @Strange
SO ITS 3 card + 1 virtual card .
But there's a catch 🪝
2nd card can be applied & taken if rejected u can fight it with PNo .they will likely reconsider & give you 90% chances ( confirmed by @prem2311
3rd & 4th .. i guess pre approved is way for it .u can't manually get it like axis phone banking.
