how to cancel SBI credit card application?

Recently I applied for SBI credit card on 10th Dec, and it is in verification state since almost a month now.
I have changed my mind and want to cancel my application.
Kindly help with suggestions on how to cancel this application.

You can deny further cooperation in application that's the most u can do
But I guess it must be either incomplete or rejected that's why u didn't heard back from them

Almost every alternate day I am getting this message from them:

"Dear Applicant, we regret the delay in processing of your SBI Card Application ************. We shall update you on the final status shortly. You can also track your application status online at sbicard.com"

My bob is stuck from 36 days
Atleast u getting sms
I m getting nothing even after mailing them every 3-4 days 😂

Can't message to bobcard handle it says u need to be Twitter verified 😅

Sent 5th mail all I m getting is
We will get back you in 4-5 days
Today it was 2-3 days

Can't message to bobcard handle it says u need to be Twitter verified 😅

You can tag them on your post, they will reply back. You can use link and escalate on FB Messenger that works. I have done the same in December 2024.

Msg them on twitter they will take your request and arrange a callback with their backend team. Once you get a call ask them to cancel your application.

For sbi card best way to get issue resolved is X.com(twitter)

Write a post explaining you issue and ask for callback. Team calls maximum within a day. Sometimes quickly in 5 min.

Explain issue verbly. They will assist furtur

For my one of major issue From sbi cards nodal desk what i got to know to that if issue is being handled by social media Team then its alredy with higher officials than the Nodal desk itself.

Update::
I raised this issue with SBI (on their X handle) on Wednesday 9th Jan, and they gave me a complaint reference number.

Today is 13th, and still my application is in verification state, neither they have cancelled it nor they have approved it yet.
