How To Close Au & Kotak Digital Bank Account Without Branch Visiting .

Branch is so far my village unable to go bank for only account closing visiting.

For Indian banks its not yet possible to close our banks digitally, it may work for Citi and DBS but not our banks.

YOu can contact branch and send scanned closure form, might work for some banks.

Kotak is only possible via branch

You can close AU without visiting branch. First try with mail/call customer care. If no success then do it with video banking facility

For kotak, I was able to do it through email last year. I was assigned a RM and she did it for me.
I got the cheque for the remaining amount after a few days on my address.
