How to club and use ITC and Accor points from two different accounts

Hi Guys,

My wife and myself have two different accounts for ITC and Accor. We have decent points. Can we utilise points in both accounts of ITC or Accor in a single trip? If yes, how?

We are planning a trip to ITC Mussoorie and want to use ITC points from both accounts. Also, can we transfer edge rewards to account not in the name of card holder?

dont know about clubbing
but you cant transfer to someone elses account

Pooling is not allowed for Accor. No idea about ITC.

No you cannot transfer edge rewards to the anyone but you. Usually the transfer will fail and you will get the ERs back but it might take some time OR they get credited but audited later and your reservation and account gets frozen or cancelled.

Oh you mean you want to add ITC Green Points to Accor Points? That is not possible. ITC does transfer to Marriott though.

No, I want to club 2 ITC accounts or 2 Accor accounts. Maybe when we stay at Accor property, we can pay through points by using points in both accounts. Not sure

Yeah that's pooling. So your wife's Accor + your Accor - isn't allowed. Not sure about ITC rules.

Book one night using 1st account and then second night using 2nd account. Done!. Other combinations are 1+2, 2+1, 2+2 etc....

Accor you cant transfer points to others but in ITC you can by sending them email.

in itc u can transfer points from one account to another
just give them a call, or email
there is also option of split booking

I have mistakenly transferred points from my brother’s hdfc to my accor account and have a couple of room bookings made. Quite a lot of points (23k). What do I do now? Will they freeze my account?

1) ITC points can be transferred to another member with eligible activity
2) You can book and pay via one account and pay via different account for extra services like food, spa etc at hotel

3) you can transfer at 2:3 to respective or common Marriot account and use it to do Marriott bookings.

Accor, you can do #2 mentioned above, book using one account, and spend using different account for food/spa etc
