he is expensive.. u should get it in-between. 17.9-18.4 IF u buy in cash its expensive. Try asking any RBI Foreign Exchange person and pay through card or cheque.

Bookmyforex is selling for 18.7577, i do not think you will get it for 17.xx anywhere

You can try at Orient exchange.. Check Orient exchange website

Try with Thomas and cook. Don't pay online. Talk to the agent, they can give you better rate after negotiation than what is shown on their site.

btw bookmyforex & similar sites , u order physical currency via cc or only bank transfer only ?

Bookmyforex will give you better rate on loading the forex card and then you withdraw that money using atm.

if you order from book my forex, they assign some travel agency to fulfill your order and if you directly talk to that agency, you get a better rate.

That extra 1rs per currency unit is the commission that they split between bookmyforex, currency provider and delivery fees. You can find many providers in cannught place. Also login at bookmyforex and add currency, move till the document upload page and close the tab, wait for a day or two and they will send you a discount voucher.
