How to Keep Complimentary insurance active?

So many banks provide complimentary insurance with their Debit/Credit Cards.

But this insurance comes with a condition that the debit card/credit card should be used for a transaction within last 30 days/90days of the date of event?

So, is there any way to manage including doing automatic transaction by which this insurance would be kept active?
