Yes.. the hp bunks will have a special PoS machine where they can input your gift voucher is. If the attendant does not know.. ask someone senior or try to find a bunk where they are knowledgeable about this.

Don't bother.. they are a pain to use.. you can buy from gfytr or get a physical pre loaded card from Amazon (which is always out of stock)
does the physical hpcl card also require special pos machine or will it work with normal card pos?

It's been over a year that I have been purchasing BPCL fuel vouchers (from amex reward multiplier) and redeeming them across BPCL petrol pumps across NCR. All you have to do is go to the pump and say you want to redeem a "Fuel Voucher/FV". Redemption is done through a pinelab POS machine. I am yet to find one petrol pump that has refused the FV. Some employees may be ignorant and in rare occasions I have taken control over the POS and redeemed it myself - while teaching them how its done lol.
Usually in these cases petrol pumps redeem your fuel vouchers first and then fill the tank out of precaution.
By doing this i pay no fuel surcharge waiver, my 1500*4 spend target is met and i earn accelerated rewards on a spend that otherwise would accrue none!

Yes comparing with HPCL, the BPCL voucher accepting outlets are more and we need to say at BPCL as SBI Voucher thats their language we should not use gyfter, amex and al they say pls pay cash haha.
BPCL got lot of SBI vouchers which are part of referral and some of SBI fuel cards one can redeem as BPCL voucher so fuel station guys got habituated as 'SBI voucher'.
