How to Verify LTF - Prior activation

Nowadays just to make more successful conversion, sales persons are saying it's LTF card.

But how do we verify if it's actually LTF.?

i have applied for Axis my zone credit card, but they say it's LTF and many in our community say that LTF offer is not available now.

I'm aware that if we do not activate the card it gets cancelled. So how do we get to know LTF before activating the card.

You can mail customer and verify if it's ltf. I did the same with HDFC card before activation.

Call Axis customer care. Customer care executive has no incentive to lie with you.

Executive who did kyc had that incentive to pocket the commission.

If customer care executive says over call that it's LTF, yes it is.

Better still to email Axis CS and get reply in writing.

Axis card agent who does physical kyc can show you charges in his kyc device. For LTF it will show nil - nil in joining and annual charges

I hav received the card, but it says 500 annual an 500 joining in the welcome kit

If it is showing annual and joining charges means it is paid. I also applied for My Zone in October and when I checked the welcome kit, it is showing 0 for both joining and annual fee.

Just if they say no, then just pay the bill and get Rs.500 Amazon Pay GV and compensate(except GST) the joining fees.
use it for 6-7months then, call the Customer care executive to ask for a card cancellation request. they will transfer the call to the CC retention team, they will offer you 2500 Edge Rewards equal to a value of Rs 500 by saying next year's fees will be compensated, you deny and say to them that it will only compensate the coming year, but not the subsequent year. then they may agree and they will take the request for conversion of Paid MyZone card to LTF.
This is how I got my paid card converted to LTF MyZone recently two months back.

While applying through an agent, you get a consent OTP via SMS in which it mentions the card variant as well the joining & annual fees

No there were no mention of such fees. But, yes I have seen such mentions in yes Bank and kotak bank application process

You can call/chat Customer Care and ask them, if the card is LTF. You should record the call to be on the safe side.
Also, MyZone is a very basic card, and there is a chance that the card will be converted to LTF, even if it is not. But, Axis is Axis. So, first call the bank and ask, and if not LTF, first ask if it can be converted to LTF.
Make sure to record the call.

IndianOil Card is being offered LTF. Try applying from website.

But from that method, they may decline the application and also, i may not get the limit that i am getting in the pre approved offer.

Apply in March - starting or mid.

Do you have existing relationship with axis ie cc/account if yes whats the account type & duration.Here;s what i have done i took airtel flipkart & ordered grocery for myself(neighborhood too/ wink wink) after 6 months got LE but still called cc who upgraded it to Axismyzone ltf ( i targetted magnus but with recent devaluation and huge joining fee & spend criteria held back)

have liberty 20 days old and 2 cc almost a year old ... applied iocl last night pre-approved and today this morning called them to make it ltf and they didnt budge so cancelled ... it was a failure

so any update?

Got Myzone with joining and annual fee of 500rs. As the Fee got added, i called axis team and requested them to reverse the fee and make this card LTF. After 30 minutes they agreed and reversed the joining fee and made the card LTF.
