HP gives 1% as payback and direct credit

HP Pay gives 1% as payback points which can be converted to cash in HP PAY for fuel.

Now I see direct cashbacks to credit card. Anyone knows why?

Because of payback rebranding. I think their partnership ended. Hence, hp pay directly refunding like 1% back.

Got the same today. Maybe payback partnership ended. But I have payback points yet to be redeemed. What should I do? Convert them to hp pay balance?

Also checked the new payback/zillion website, it mentions hp pay as a partner.

I am using only Magnus for now. Meeting milestone is the target for first 20 days of month 🙂

I suspect with the new update in software, there is a bug and they are giving extra 1%.

So my guess is they'll take back the payback points from us. I had an instance where i received payback points twice and they took them back after a week or so

Yes. I can see points added too. I think rewards will continue.

It has been a good ride with payback and HP.

I purchase on Amazon by clicking the link in payback for affiliate and it gets captured. After 2 months, that points can be redeemed on Hp pay. If we click on payback Amazon link, that session link is valid for 24 hours and we can keep using Amazon app and get the rewards. So 1 click once a day is all it takes for another 1%.
