Hi Friends,

hp pay app load wallet via credit card which card is having zero charges kindly share your experience about the rewards/CB for this transactions.

FYI my holding cards are SC Manhattan, HDFC Regalia, IndusInd Legend and ICICI Apay as well as LTF Coral.

Recently, ICICI has disable fuel transactions on their fastags. DYOR before loading bulk amt in ICICI tags

You need to login to ICICI etoll website using your fastag customer ID and password. It will show up fuel enabled yes or no in one of the tag detail menu options

Is there any way to save the card in HP pay app ??? (I am not seeing it anywhere. Might be during 1st transaction it will ask to save)

If not then, it's worst thing to enter the card details again & again.

My card details are saved in CC Avenue

Actually i get more than 5% on BOB.

I usual fill for Rs 2000.
Reward points 24/150*2000=320RPs ~ Rs 80
Happy coins - 80 coins ~ Rs 20
Fuel surcharge (0.85% and no GST if used via HP pay app) - Rs 17
Surcharge waiver (1% and is calculated on the amount charged of card i.e 2017 in this case) - Rs 20.17

So total benefits - 80+20-17+20.17 = Rs 103.17 ~ 5.16%

Big figures are good buddy.
Issue with less than Rs.1000 (they might be charging minimum Rs.10 or 1% of amount - whichever is high).

It's great news if they're not charging gst on surcharge.

I need to try with small amount like Rs.210.
I guess they will charge Rs.10 as surcharge but waiver will be Rs.2.00

1 more doubt is you told 0.85% & charged Rs.17 then how come they waived 20.17 ???

They waive 1% of amount posted on card. In this case the amount was 2017(2000+17). 1% of 2017 is 20.17

How Axis bank work is:
Minimum Rs.10 or 1% of amount --> whichever is high they will charge.
Over surcharge they add 18% GST.
Waiver will be 1% of fueling amount (not on fueling amount + surcharge + GST on surcharge).

I have Axis IOCL & using only for car with Rs.1010 or Rs.1610 amount

I once paid for 200 rs. 1.7 was the surcharge. No surcharge waiver.

This is on using HP pay app.

The icici fasttag team has disabled fuel transactions all of a sudden(I had enabled thru portal long back). it shows fuel transaction disabled .
Option to enable is also removed from fastag portal.
raised the ticket , no response till now.
called tollfree they told will get the option in 1 week
Idiots icici fastag Team , useless .
No mail id to escalate the issue.

Enable fuel transaction link is removed from the portal, but I was able to make a transaction on 08th july(Not through HP pay, but through Fastag sale option of drivetrack machine).

In the drivetrack plus machine, choose the sale button at the bottom --> Select product --> Fastag sale. Next page it will display IDBI,ICICI and another bank --> Select ICICI Fastag --> Enter Mobile number --> Enter Last 4 digits of Vehicle Registration number --> Enter OTP to complete the transaction.

Send a escalation mail to icici , then they might enable from backend.
For me they enabled after escalation mail to icici .

You can remove and link again icici fastag in hppay . After linking it will show balance of fasttag.
Try for QR scan payments and then you can select fasttag.
You will get otp to mobile and enter otp in hppay to complete payment with success message.
For this to work Fuel option should be enabled , otherwise you wont get OTP.

But drivetrack plus will work if fasttag Fuel option is disabled ? I dont think it will .

Fuel transaction has to be enabled, else OTPs will not be triggered. I find the fastage sale option convenient than HP pay. In my town, HP pay QR code is not available(even the ones stuck in pillars are scratched beyond recognition). So I need to use drivetrack plus machine to access HP pay menu and then then the QR code, which is a bit tedious than this direct Fastag sale from the homepage of the DTplus machine.
