Asking for a Friend

A friend of mine has HSBC Visa Platinum with 10L limit. The Visa Platinum is LTF. Can this card be upgraded to any other which is LTF or can this card be used to apply for another card which comes in Premium series but should be LTF.

This is probably the only LTF Card by HSBC.
If he has spent around groceries and other stuff, he can think about getting a Liv+. It's a good card even as paid.
