I am Once again looking for a Perfect UPI App - Query & Discussion

These are my priorities in the same order
1. Fast payments and reliability
2. Option to turn off screen lock
3. Customisable upi id, and single upi id for all accounts
4. Default payment methods according to amount entered, I would want upi lite to be the default if amount is less than 100, if it's a merchant account and if rupay cc is accepted then rupay cc else my primary bank account

Samsung Pay Wallet, the best. Supports Tap and Pay for Visa/Master card from popular banks too, have been using since 2017, when it was introduced.
Supports UPI, UPI Lite and Credit Card UPI.
Many time UPI was not working in crowded places with other apps, but worked on Samsun Pay without issue for me. Always been my first priority UPI app.

2. For tap and pay, you need to open the app whereas in Gpay, you need not to open the app


No app is perfect....I am using Yespay for UPI and Gpay for NFC.

You just have to swipe up from the bottom of the screen to open the app.
Also I feel that my help in fraud prevention, instead of the payments going through directly.

4 is not implemented anywhere. For 1-3, check Freecharge and BHIM.

- But these 3 are standard (PhonePe, GooglePay, Paytm).

Activate Slice wallet UPI on Jio SIM. It would even on no that is not linked to any bank acct or adhaar. Transfer money to it via UPI from your own acct or from your friends/family members. Pay anywhere.

Slice topup via UPI is free. Just initiate UPI>UPI transfer from any UPI app on any phone and mention your slice UPI as target

Super.money ticks mosts of the boxes with additional cashback on every amount.

it does not recognize 90% merchant accounts for rupay CC payment...I tested myself and it only show bank account option

i tried multiple apps with multiple merchants and observed that yes pay next is most accurate for merchant identification for rupay CC payment..may be reason is that all paytm merchant accounts are shifted to yes bank so yes bank accurately knows which merchant accept rupay CC payment.

2nd most accurate is freecharge..It was 80% accurate compared to yes pay next and rest all apps were crap
