I applied for RBI Cashback credit card but it got rejected

I applied for SBI Cashback credit card but they rejected it without employment verification.

I reached out to the nodal officer and they said that it was rejected due to non serviceable area. However, SBI has a branch in the same area and also my father has a credit card on the same address and pincode.

Should I raise RBI Complaint?

Update:

I received a call from SBI Principal Nodal Officer (But the caller sounded like junior agent 😅) and said that your area is not serviceable.

I told him that my father has SBI card on the same area. He said that it was serviceable earlier but not now. I said how is that possible? You should expand to new areas but instead of that, you backing up 😅. Also said that if SBI is not providing service in any area, why other banks will provide?

One suggestion: you may apply through their agents. Go to your SBI branch and ask for contact number of the SBI sales persons.
