If it's provided free, then go for a metal card.I recently got Pioneer DC and wanted to get a metal one for free. However I read one post here that the design or metal quality is not good. Also there are no extra benefits of it.
Shall I get Pioneer Metal DC or not?
Please share your experience.
Yeah, I'm getting metal one then.Plastic DC seems to fade away after 6 months, specifically golden color on the edges.
What made you go for indusind and not some other bank like IDFC? IDFC has higher interest rate and much better app. I'm trying to decide between both, but stuck because indusind Pioneer does have a better dc - zero forex and metal! IDFC private dc on the other requires much higher trvYeah, I'm getting metal one then.
Why not get both? IDFC does not downgrade if you are maintaining 25k. IndusInd doesn't either, but that is a completely different matter. What made you go for indusind and not some other bank like IDFC? Yeah I could, I just prefer to have less number of accounts, its much difficult to close than a credit card. Why not get both? IDFC does not downgrade if you are maintaining 25k. IndusInd doesn't either, but that is a completely different matter.
I have IDFC Wealth account already. Got upgraded it from Select recently. What made you go for indusind and not some other bank like IDFC? So you went for indusind just for metal dc? What's your opinion about the app, customer support, and anything you see as different compared to IDFC?I have IDFC Wealth account already. Got upgraded it from Select recently.
The local branch's team came in our society to promote their bank in August. I went there to inquire about credit card as I always wanted IndusInd card for merchant offers. They said that they were running an offer on Pioneer account. The offer was about MAB. I explicitly asked if I wouldn't maintain required balance for Pioneer then would they downgrade? They said no. Hence I got ready for Pioneer account. So you went for indusind just for metal dc? What's your opinion about the app, customer support, and anything you see as different compared to IDFC?
Yeah both ICICI and IDFC have good app and internet banking but terrible cc. On the other hand indusind and hdfc have decent cc but bad app. Axis used to be the one which was decent at both before cc devaluation. The local branch's team came in our society to promote their bank in August. So it's not just for metal DC. I wanted core credit card and ended up having an account there.
The app is decent, and the website seems functional too. After using IDFC app you'd feel that their app is 10 years old, same goes for website as well.
The account opening and on boarding representative was good and the credit card process was super quick too (approval within an hour).
I've been assigned an RM but my account is still new so I haven't had much experience with RM or other departments of the bank to evaluate the service well yet.
IndusInd most of the times provide higher interest rates on FD compared to IDFC. And easy to create linked FD in IndusInd, same is not available in IDFC. It requires branch visit if need to enable Sweep-In facility with IDFC but default linked FD rates are lesser than manual ones. What made you go for indusind and not some other bank like IDFC? I don't understand what you mean. Can you use OD on IndusInd FD's without visiting Branch? Even if the FD was made at a Branch?IndusInd most of the times provide higher interest rates on FD compared to IDFC. And easy to create linked FD in IndusInd, same is not available in IDFC. PS: I have both Indus Pioneer & IDFC Wealth account & benefits wise IndusInd always given higher rate of return.
I meant the linked FDs which gets withdrawn in chunks on account balance shortfall below a threshold. No need to close whole FD before maturity in case of need of funds.I don't understand what you mean. Can you use OD on IndusInd FD's without visiting Branch? Even if the FD was made at a Branch?
