ICIC Rubxy Card Wrong Variant Issue

I recently received a call from ICICI Bank offering me a lifetime free Rubyx card. It sounded like a good deal, so I applied for it. During the call, the agent filled out the details and asked which variant I preferred: MasterCard + Amex (Dual) or RuPay. I chose the dual option, thinking it would offer more benefits. However, I've come to regret this decision because the Amex card has very few offers and often doesn't work for things like lounge access or BookMyShow.

Now, I realize that the RuPay variant would be more beneficial as it works with UPI and is much more stable. Is there a way to deactivate the current cards and switch to the RuPay variant?

You don't need to deactivate your current cards. Just DM ICICI Bank on Twitter and ask them for Conversion to Rupay variant. They might say that your dual card will be deactivated or they might ask you to close dual card - Well you can hold all the three cards at the same time.

You'll get a single statement for all 3 and will reflect as same account in Cibil also......
