Is there any way that I can request them to not spoil my credit score for this late payment?

There is no solution for late payment and reporting of same to the Credit Rating Agencies.

You can try writing to Customer Care.

Was the total bill 199, or just the amount left? If total, you can try requesting ICICI citing positive history with them, but 99% they won't do anything.

You can't do anything about it then, make sure to pay your bills on time from now. CIBIL will bounce back in 3-4 months.
