It's called staged roll out..

It's really not completely efficient. There are bugs and ICICI needs to work on the same. While I tried locking UPI and Debit cards, it worked and locked and unlocked them successfully. But credit card temp locking is not yet reflecting, I mean this feature is currently unable to lock/unlock all of my credit cards temporarily. It just fetches the status as unlocked even after locking the credit cards. ICICI needs to yet work on the same.

As far as I know most of the banks don't have user level control on UPI transactions such as locking or unlocking them. It is a very important feature missing with many banks.

PS: SBI, ICICI has it.

Edit: Surprisingly, they are allowing screen recording while using their app. This is a serious security related issue that ICICI need to work on.

1. Manage access to your digital services with a single swipe using SmartLock.

2. You can lock/unlock your Internet Banking and iMobile Pay platforms or services such as UPI, Debit Cards, and Credit Cards on a real-time basis.

3. Locked services will decline instant payments/transactions unless services are unlocked.

4. The standing instructions, e-mandate, EMIs and Auto pay requests in the accounts/cards, if any, will continue to be active and executed as usual.

5. In case UPI access is locked, all the UPI transaction from iMobile Pay as well as Other UPI apps will be blocked for ICICI Bank Accounts.

6. You can unlock services through iMobile Pay or call 1800-1080
