ICICI Card downgrade possible??

Is it possible to downgrade icici credit card from Sapphiro to Rubyx OR Rubyx to Coral?
Needed Coral Rupay card but icici is not allowing to apply for Coral as I already have sapphiro.

(ICICI doesn't close old card on upgrades, so I was hoping to submit a downgrade request and then keep both cards)

Mention your card's last 4 digits and phone number. Their executive will call within 2 days and take your request for new card.

I think it'll be considered as per normal reward structure.
0.5% for all spends except utilities & insurance.
0.25% for utilities & insurance.

I guess if previous card is not LTF and remains active even after downgrade, they have the right to charge yearly fees.
ICICI Bank normally doesn't close old cards after upgrade/downgrade... It is the customer's responsiblity to place a card closure request.

Also, you may ask them that as you have Sapphiro, you should get Coral as LTF as you have higher variant already

I had applied in their CC application portal for Coral(both Rubyx and Coral were shown as LTF) but next day I received a call from customer care that I already have Sapphiro so they won't be able to approve my Coral (or any card which is lower tha Sapphiro). They were ready to offer me Emeralde but paid.

Well people are collecting Rupay cards for its offers and there is only one Rupay card currently from ICICI that is Coral Rupay. See https://www.rupay.co.in/rupay-offers

Yes. They will charge cards as per the mentioned charges while issuing the cards.
