Icici cibil reporting query

Hello folks

I read somewhere that Icici does not report the actual limit given to you. Instead, it reports the Transaction limit you have set for your Credit Card as Limit to Bureau. Is this true..?

For example, let's say you got Sapphiro with 5L limit; but since you don't plan to use the cc that much; you go to manage limits optn and select the Transaction limit for POS/ online as 2,00,000 instead of 5L.

So will Icici report 2L as the limit to Cibil or 5L ..??

Btw, one more thing about Icici, that I came to know through this forum, is that, while Icici reports accurately to Cibil, it does not report every month. It reports once in like two months...

No, it's not true. ICICI reports your actual credit limit, your current balance, and your maximum utilization all separately.

No will report actual credit limit only.

In your case 5L will be reported. They will categorize the cards under accounts.

- ICICI Emeralde will be separate (Including all Networks)

- Other Gemstone cards (One account only)

- Amazon Pay card (One separate account)

** Not sure of the ICICI Emeralde Metal Private.

Not True first one in my case I was using Apay Card with 1.5L. I received a pre approved offer for Rupay coral and opted for that with that I got the limit increment offer at the same time also took that my Apay Card limit increased to 4.2L but my coral remained 1.5L max limit in CIBIL both the cards were reported with different limits.
2nd one is true if you are not using the card regularly sometimes they skip one/two months

Didn't new Eleralde would be a new account (as its part of gemstone collection)

I knew only 3 accs: MMT (plat/sig), apay and gemstone

Earlier, I thought all gemstone cards were in a single account. However, after receiving a dual Rubyx upgrade last week, I realized I have three different accounts in ICICI: (will chave to confirm in CIBIL as well)
  1. Amazon: 1 account
  2. Gemstone cards till 18th May: 1 account (Platinum, Coral RuPay, Rubyx Visa, Sapphiro dual) with the same bill/due date and the same outstanding EMI.
  3. Rubyx Dual: From 18th May, with a different bill generation date and due date compared to my previous gemstone cards. It shows only one transaction and not the outstanding EMI.
Currently, two ICICI accounts are showing in CIBIL: one for Amazon and one for previous gemstone cards. I will check the CIBIL update in the coming months to see if the Rubyx dual card will show as a new account in CIBIL

I hold Emeralde Dual networks (Visa + Amex - One account)

Other Gemstone Cards (Coral Visa, Coral Rupay, Rubyx Dual - One account)

Amazon Pay (One account)

An excellent score.
A few questions
1) age of credit profile?
2) Home loan ever held before or now
3) enquiries in the past 6 months and total
Thanks

I think your 21 years history made the difference and kept your score above 800 consistently..
BTW, you don't need to worry about enquiries at all
