ICICI Credit card mobile number mismatch issue during aadhar authentication

Hi, I've ICICI apay cc and No other relationship with ICICI
My cc reg mob num is not the same as my Aadhar reg mob num
I received an offer today for Rupay credit card in net banking but when I try to apply for it
There's an error popping up showing "the Aadhar linked mob num and num registered in bank records is diff"
asking me to change my aadhar linked mob num
what's the solution for thsi?

Maintain Same Mobile Number in both aadhar and bank records.

Else simply change icici mobile number to aadhar linked mobile number. Then try for coral rupay card.

After getting the card switch back to old mobile number.

Elseif simply change mobile number in aadhar, may take 2 weeks+

If you already hold a ICICI Bank credit card make sure you have same number in all cards. Sometimes they issue Rupay as add-on card and there also you can face mobile number problem.

I faced this. Last year I updated my mobile number in bank account but Credit card otp were coming to old numbers only. Although it fecthed my RuPay CC with new number but still otp and other sms regarding credit card were hitting old number only. I ignored that time.

Later, I got limit increase offer and when tried to increase, it shown, your card is either invalid or mobile number not same as bank account. called CC they said we can't update from here. Went to bank (home branch) and tried on ATM inside branch. Thing happened was ATM wasn't even allowing to access More Options where we get to register/update mobile number after entering PIN. Tried 3-4 ATMs and got same result. Went to bank again and filled physical form, gave ID proof photocopy self attested and mobile number updated same day. After that no problem increasing limit.

Remember, changing mobile number in bank account via Debit Card or Physical Form doesn't change it in credit card and you can face problem with many future txns. So always change and keep same number and request for change in both at same time.
