Devaluation ICICI Emeralde Add-on Card Holder Denied Domestic Lounge Access. Devaluation?

Hello everyone! My wife holds an add-on card for my ICICI Emeralde plastic card. Till December, she could get into domestic lounges using that card as we were aware that this card gives unlimited domestic lounge access for add-on holders as well. But this month, when she tried in the same airport lounge as before, they denied access citing no free access available. I have not seen any communication regarding any change related to this. If anyone is aware, please let me know if that is indeed the case now or there is some issue?

For now, Emeralde Pvt Metal is the only Credit Card (not accounting co-branded cards here) which clearly mentions Lounge Access for Primary & Secondary Card Holder as well.

Seems for rest all, it is restricted only to Primary Holder. Sapphiro Cc page has mentioned Lounge Access only for Primary clearly. Emeralde Pvc page hasn't mentioned it; but looking at your experience, it seems likely the same case.

Thanks for sharing the add-on tnc link. Yeah I had checked the Emeralde pvc page but could not see any info in this regard. I just received response from customer care as well mentioning that they have removed the domestic lounge access for Emeralde pvc add-on users. Looks to me like a silent change. Need to check better alternatives now for add-on users (other bank's cards, as getting access to emeralde pvt metal is difficult as I understood from other discussions in this community).

ICICI has recently updated lounge list on Dec, 2024. in which they have clearly mentioned that "Complimentary benefit will be applicable for Primary cardholders only except for Diamant, Emerald Private Metal and Times Black Credit Card." So now onwards lounge benefit on addon card is only applicable for holders of Diamant, Emerald Private Metal and Times Black Credit Cards.

Thank you! Dint expect this type of devaluation for such an expensive card. Now add-ons will be chargeable as well!

Check if you can get invite for Private Metal Card from Emeralde PVC. Some users have reported getting theirs in iMobile or through calls from Credit Card team if existing limit of Emeralde PVC is more than 6 lakhs.

But you can’t apply plus or add on card for Times Black card from App. Is there any way to apply?

before that, just know in advance that the Add-On Card fee for Times Black is Rs 3500 +gst

Thanks for letting me know. I did check over email but they asked to check through RM or branch. I dont have any offer on imobile for upgrade but I have more than 6 lakhs as limit. Will check through RM and update here in case I manage to get the emeralde pvt metal.
