ICICI Salary Account Query

I have an ICICI Mine savings account (zero-balance) from 2020, but my company requires me to open an ICICI Salary Account. I prefer not to convert my existing account since I can't predict if I'll continue using the salary account and want to avoid the risk of it converting to a regular savings account with a ₹10,000 minimum balance.

I’ve encountered technical issues while trying to open the ICICI Insta Salary Account online, despite multiple attempts. It seems there's a restriction that ICICI allows only 1 Online Account and rest can be Open Offline.Since, I already had Open Online savings account.

When I visited the branch, the staff was unhelpful, asking for documents I didn't have and showing a lack of knowledge about the account opening process. I've only opened one account in my life before, so I’m unfamiliar with offline procedures. Can someone clarify if having both a salary and savings account will show up in the same app?

If your company has corporate tie up with ICICI bank, then just ask your HR to help you open a corporate salary account with ICICI ( Just tell him that you previously had opened online account so it won’t let you open online). On a given request bank employee will come to your corporate office & will open the salary account instantly.
