IDFC Bank Re-verification of Current Residence Address after a month

So on July 4, i applied for a IDFC credit card and the same was approved within 24 hours and i have been using the card since then. Video KYC and in person verification was also done that time. But today again another third party agent came for current address verification and asked all the personal details again.

Has anyone experienced this? Checked the card with a small transaction, it's active only. Haven't got any mails or message from the bank regarding the verification. Couldn't connect to customer care for clarification.

Yes, they can do it.

Just verify again. Generally, if they find something is not upto the mark in your application at a later date, they have the right to close the card and will do so.

Make sure you are available and let the process happen.

In few cases, banks and finance companies do spot verification. It depends on how they shortlisted your application.
