IDFC CC's with different limit

I have Millennia and Power Plus credit cards with shared limit of 80k. I got limit increased to 1.2L today. But the the limit was increased only to power plus and Millenia is having same old limit of 80k. I contacted customer support they said 80k is shared limit for both cards and 40k is applicable for power plus. I asked them to make 1.2L as shared limit. they said it is not possible.

I had similar experience with Kotak, but with in a month I got LE on second card to.

Yes, on Kotak card!
Core card LE was paid for the second card notification and it was enhanced for free.

So, then I should wait for 1 month to match the limit of both cards ?

In my case they only increased limit on Millenia. No LE on my second card power+

totally waste of time in my case...
I called them on march 3rd asked for LE they immediately shared link to upload my salary bank statement
uploaded on the minute,
till today no response from their end
just now (march 13th) called ccare about update,
they simply said ur request rejected on March 4th only I.e very next day of my request without any cibil hit or verification.

robotic reason :- not met criteria, internal policies,

I asked ccare person why do u people not sent rejection intimation thru any of channel?
he said u have to check in ur idfc mobile app under customer service tab...🫢🫢🫢

salary 1.4L
working since 3.5 yrs same company
idfc SA holder since 3 yrs with amb 80-90k
plenty txns done
cc limit 1L since card issue (oct 2023) no LE till now.
got rejected 🫠🫠🫠🫠

IDFC is very random, the ideal case will be to close and get new CC basis current profile but why would someone go to that level for IDFC CC, they are less rewarding vs competition

if I closed my existing card
what will be the cooling period to reapply ?
can I get good limit as per my cibil 790
with 9 active cards limit around 20L

not sure of cooling period at idfc but I got Wealth from idfc branch employee with great limit when online application was showing not eligible
