IDFC First bank closed my Credit Card without my consent

My mother has had the IDFC First Bank Classic Credit Card for almost 3 years now. Two days ago it was cancelled citing, 'Card Closure due to CIBIL checks'. She has never missed a payment nor has she had any delinquencies or any other abnormalities in her Credit report, which is more than a decade old now.

She wasn't even sent an Email, just an SMS stating what I wrote above and it was cancelled instantly. She had been using the card for around 1-2k on avg a month during any bank offers and stuff of that sort.

Is there anything that can be done here?

So did you call the bank and check what happened?
