IDFC Maintaining Minimum Balance through FD

Can we create FD of 10k and it gets counted towards minimum balance requirement for the Savings 10K variant in IDFC?

There should have been an option of higher amount of FD.

Nonetheless, I guess maintaining 10K is better than negotiating with BM

Thing with idfc is if you don't maintain .. some free service's become chargeable

savings balance and fd are different entities

That's the thing I like HDFC over idfc
They gave most of their accounts an option to do fd for waiving nmc

No, because bank makes money by giving loans using the money you deposited. Using FD for giving loans incur a high cost to the bank and consumer who take the loan. So most banks won't allow FD to counted as MAB

Not general saving account.

For it you need special relationship with rm so that he can request for you from his behalf

No, I don’t think so but even if they deduct charges which i am almost certain they will, u can reverse them via raising requests. My colleague has the 25k minimum balance account and when bank deducted charges he got them reversed by raising request. Ask BM or your RM to reverse the charges maybe they will.

Guaranteed Investment Plan ka toh pata nahi but Guaranteed Return RM ko zaroor dega yeh plan.
