IDFC Select Credit Card Usage

I have IDFC Select credit card with 1.6 lakh credit limit. I know it's lifetime free card but is there any practical benefit of this card?

The reward rate is not interesting, 0.5%
Rs. 117 reward redemption fee.
The Bogo movie offer is just Rs. 125. Ticket rate start in my city at Rs. 200.
Spend criteria for Airport Lounge access is 20k
Railway Lounge facility not available in my city. Need to visit other city for using it.
I was thinking to use credit card to bank transfer for unlocking Airport Lounge access. I need suggestion for such apps.

In simple close idfc, now after devaluation there is a good list of trash cards available in idfc, I closed mine select last week, the retention team was also horrible, if i knew about there service before, I will never had any thought of getting idfc cards

IDFC not taking lesson from competition or the Bank don't have funds to give better rewards to customers

Keep it since it is LTF. Could be useful for sale discount offers, in future, if there are any.

As from last 6 months, I don't see any particular offer only from idfc and might also not be in future.

It's headache if you have to connect with there support for some chargeback etc (keep in mind if you hold idfc they will never support you and maybe you have to pay).

Railway lounge access you can also get from icici Coral, rubyx

All are good if you need money, and if not needed then they are heavily charged and the transactions are also detected by bank so the bank also charge on the transaction

Better ask at local petrol pump for cash or at any local vendor they will provide you instant cash with less fees approx 1%
