Received email from IDFCfirst bank regarding interest rate reduced from 16% currently (on my wealth cc) to 9%. They may be doing it selectively. However, this makes it very attractive. This 9% interest rate is better than personal loan if one needs. Even better than EMI as you loose rewards points when choosing emi option.

Yes mine is also 9%

But there is GST on cc interest , which it makes it 9% *1.18 = 10.8%

Federal bank on its website mentions loan on ccs at 6 pa maybe the site isn't update but if someone has they can check it

This is called CC Balance Transfer on EMI.
Just another way of saying, don't give interest to another bank, give it to IDFC First instead. 😁

My original interest rate was 16% for revolving credit balance on credit card. It is reduced to 9% few months ago. My wealth credit card is around 1 yr old with around 11+ lakh credit limit. I do not have any savings account etc with IDFC First bank.. card interest rate snapshot is below..

IDFC is testing me if I want some loan or not? My home loan is above 9%. Thinking of closing home loan by taking credit card revolving credit 😎

Partly for that and also remember it is LTF and have low Foregin Mark up fee and Lounge access ( both Domestic and International)..
in a LTF card these are all great features to have ..
