If I get SBI add on RuPay card

I want to know if anyone has ever taken an add on SBI RuPay card, giving a different number and was able to use UPI on that number?
Also, do they actually validate the number? As in, what if i give details of my parents and give number of one of my friends, will they able to track it?

absolute discretion of the primary, primary is ultimate responsibility about payment not parents or friends, you can give any mobile as you like it. But its only your responsibility to pay on time otherwise put remarks in your cibil. They just enjoy using the card, no need to worry about payments.

advice: don't ever handover card completely to friends even you know them since childhood.

Thank you, I tried searching here with some keywords and I wasn't able to find any relevant post.
And yes, I understand. Though I have given an add on card (limit is always in my control) and turned off POS and tap & pay option.

This is based on personal experience, it may help you.

You'll soon endup with high debt if this process continues.

Based on your question I'm getting that it happens every month or frequently, it's time your friends or relatives should own their credit cards (atleast FD based).

Once or twice its fine but not every month, that too without you knowing how much each person spending on your own card.

At the end of the day, it's you who suffers most when things went sideways.

Easy way to track is to collect the money as soon as purchase completed or atleast end of that day. If...

I really appreciate this and it's actually true in 99.99% of the cases, that's the reason I have never given any access to any relatives. They are never gonna return.
But the one person I know, I can trust on him. He is a friend and he has a small business. So far it never happened that he made a transaction without letting me know about it. But will see. I have kept the limit low, and only increase when he requests.
