Impact of credit card upgrade on credit account and cibil

I applied for my hdfc regalia first credit card upgrade to dcb black 2 weeks ago. I received a message today saying my upgrade was successful. It's my oldest credit account.

But the new credit card number has changed from the older one. Does this mean my oldest credit account of regalia first is closed ? How will it impact my cibil score?

The card shows NEW Diners Black Card DOM. Does it mean it works only in domestic(within india)? Or does DOM stand for something else?

I also upgraded from money back visa to diners privilege. No change in cibil account it shows the same account. Just last digit is changed

I am in process of same upgradation. Asked the same query to HDFC PNO office and confirmed that the same account will be active only card no will be changed which is same as you mentioned.

Oh why didnt u go for Infinia then

I had the institute offer for dcb ltf. So I decided to choose that. I don't have enough spendings on my card to qualify for infinia.
