INCOME TAX FOR CASHBACK !

There are lot of cashback platform there days such as
Cashback credit cards
Google pay (cashback)
Tide 😁
Etc…

So one can easily get 50k cashback in year but as per guidelines we should pay tax for the amount received more than 50k in a financial year.

Do you guys report this in your ITR ?

People here are making lack of money form cashback as profit but there they consider there total income if below 5L so they don’t need to pay tax or file itr.

You have to. If you're not reporting, it's at your own risk.

Cashback is considered as Gifts, Income from other sources.

Tata Neu directly reported in 26AS for some high referral earners.
