Increase limit of new SBI Cashback Card

Applied for SBI Cashback CC on 29th August, it got approved on 3rd September and currently dispatched (not in hand yet). But they only gave a very low limit of 16k.

I already have a SBI Simplysave CC with 50k limit which is not used at all(most transactions done via my ICICI Amazon Pay CC), so can the limit of this card be transferred to the Cashback card?

I applied. There is no option to add my bank account for statement. Received the SR number

I used this option on my mother's 2 years old card and they asked for access of her bank account. After that they increased her limit from 66 to 88k.


My I used the same on my less than 3 months old card and they told me that I am inelligible.

Did you get any cibil hit?? When they informed you that u are ineligible?

Just Sharing:

Yesterday I was checking LE in SBI Card App and there was pre-approved 80% limit increase which I took instantly although didn't needed. Now it stands at 3.6L for SBI Cashback card for me. Started at 80K then I transferred part limit from SBI Simplyclick and made it 2L. Now due to FY ending month they offered LE to almost everyone. Same happened with Axis, ICICI, HDFC cards so I pushed them further up to pre-approved limits.

So everyone check their pre-approved LE also.

This method works for any existing SBI card!

I was randomly checking for offers on the SBI Cards website. I found an LE offer. I've been waiting for a LE for over a year. My SBI Cashback card is 1 year 5 months old with a 50K limit, and I never got a pre-approved LE. I tried the same process last September before the festive season but didn't get the Anumati option. This time, it worked!
I got a 40% LE.



Key Tips:
