Hi,
I had a IndusInd Legend Credit Card with 5 lakhs limit, which has been closed recently (2 months back) due to for upgrading to IndusInd Tiger or IndusInd Pinnacle credit card for Golf Benefits.
I have sent number of emails for upgrade from legend to tiger but no luck.
But strangely I got a call from IndusInd Team after closing the legend card for upgrade from Legend to Pinnacle (Rs 15K+GST joining fee, which can be compensated by 15K Vouchers), which is a lifetime free credit card and I said that I do accept and to proceed further process but have not heard from them.
Also applied for IndusInd Rupay Platinum card for UPI spends but that one also rejected.
The thing is do I have to wait for 6 months to re apply or any Branch visit can help to get pinnace/tiger ?

why indus cards?

Btw, Indus, Kotak etc. branch heavy operated banks. U can easily apply without any wait period there.

The best hack to get IndusInd Pinnacle is to open a Grande Account and get the CLTF (Spend 50K in 90 days, no 5000+ GST fees) card.
Don't go for the 15K offer. The vouchers they have are not worth it.

Thanks for the help bro. Brief History of IndusInd
1). First I got the IndusInd Legend Credit Card (applied through paisabazaar I think).
2). Later I opened select zero balance savings account online.
3). Closed Legend Credit Card.

So.. Currently I hold the the Savings Account relationship only. (I think it is select zero balance. not sure).

What steps I need to follow now....whether

a). Call Customer Care to upgrade my present savings account o Grande Account ?
OR
b). Visit any branch and close the existing savings account and open new/fresh Grande Account. ?

Your old Select Savings account is no more 0 MAB after closing the Legend Card.

Two Scenarios:

Case 1:
Upgrade your existing account by maintaining a ₹5L deposit and ask the branch to apply for the card.

Case 2:
Open a fresh account and convert your old Select account into a Grande add-on account.

After receiving the card, downgrade the account to Exclusive within 1–2 months and enjoy the 0 MAB Exclusive account benefits.
