My payment due date was on the 28th. Upon review today, I realized the payment was missed on the 28th due to the festival.

I have since submitted the payment.

Considering today is the 4th day, and the three-day grace period has elapsed, I am inquiring about the potential implications.

Specifically, I would like to understand the possibility of reversing the late fee and finance charges, given this is the first instance of a late payment.

Furthermore, I am interested in understanding the impact on my CIBIL score.

Whichever bank it is
send a mail right away to and request them to waive any charges applied seeing the past history and record of your creditworthiness
Also request them not to report this matter to the credit bureaus as a one time gesture considering your relationship with them.

Your only option is to talk with customer care on call first and write email to customer care/nodal , requesting one time waiver as exception for delayed payment as you were busy with festival celebrations. And mention that you have previously always done timely payments.

Do this and hope for the best.
