I've recently decided to apply for the IndusInd Tiger credit card considering it is LTF as well as a phenomenal reward rate post a certain amount. After applying online I got a call from their team asking about my address.
I live and work in Delhi but my permanent address proof is in Bengaluru. They had a doubt about it and asked if I were working from home. I could have simply said yes but being an idiot I told them the truth. They said according to their rules, proof of address is needed for the actual location where the customer is present.
I offered to share a broadband bill in my name or even a couple of other credit card statements as proof of address. The lady said she will check and get back.
And hour later I received a message saying my application was rejected.
BUT I KEEP GETTING EMAILS FROM INDUSIND SAYING MY APPLICATION IS INCOMPLETE and that I should complete it. When I tried to "resume application" it shows me the "Your application has been rejected" message.
Question:
Has anybody faced anything similar and was able to resolve it towards a successful application? I would like to get this card even if I do not use it ever simply because it might help keep my credit utilisation rate low.
Thanks in advance!
