Infinia FYF vs DCB LTF with spends around 8 to 10L

Got a DCB LTF with spends around 8L last year. I am being offered Infinia FYF. Would Infinia be better than DCB ?

There is no Prime, Swiggy renewal benefits in Infinia. Rewards wise both are same excpet smartbuy spends I believe. Shall I switch to Inifinia FYF or retain DCB LTF given my spends will be in the range 8 to 10L in a year

Well getting Infinia FYF is a no Brainer for your case! People with lower spends are pushing the bank and dying to get it.

Spend waiver for Metal is 10L, which you can obviously meet. For Plastic, it is 8L. Confirm with the bank which variant you'll be issued. Afaik, Plastic is still being issued for Upgrades. Even if it's metal and you don't meet the annual waiver in a year, you do get 12.5 points, which is redeemed for statement is worth only .3 rupees, but if used for hotel and flights, it is 1rs per point. So you only pay the GST part. The only annoying part is 70% limit for bookings, but yeah, you'll probably manage it with your spends.

The rewards and acceptance are much better than Infinia. Should definitely get it. Feel free to shoot any other questions. Please mark it as a solution if it solved your query.

Infinia if you can get it.. if you are able to hit 10 L then definitely and if you plan to leverage the smart buy / ITC benefits. DCB LTF is a fantastic card on its own.

I guess you have dcb plastic. Then if infinnia metal is being offered, take it. With better acceptability it would be easier to transfer some extra expenses to reach fee waiver.

But keep in mind that , if you can't reach 10L, you won't recover the gst on af. Plus the 12.5k points is partially recovered: As smart buy prices are slightly inflated and only 70% can be paid through points. Also that money will be blocked till you avail. So you need to discount those. You can take this loss around 5k.
So you need calculated with your spend pattern how many times the higher rewards limit Of infinnia would be helpful.
But if offer is for infinnia plastic, better to stay put and wait for reserve.

Infinia any day! Though DCB LTF is good, the reward capping on smartbuy for the plastic version is a bummer-

Plus if you are a new DCB user, you will soon realise its acceptance issues (particularly for international spends). Infinia fees can be recovered easily (you anyway also get 12500 reward points if you have to pay the annual fees).
